Robbers Hit a Bingo Hall in Albuquerque

On November 11, 2006, armed robbers, with black stockings on their faces raided a bingo gaming facility located in the West of Albuquerque on a very eventful Saturday evening.

One of the players inside that hall that night, Dolores Dillard, said that she remembered telling her husband that the suspects that had raided the hall had guns. Dolores and her husband were indulging in a game of bingo that night at Route 66 Bingo Hall. She then added that when she went to lean on her wheel chair, one of the robbers inconsiderately shoved her out of the wheel chair and onto the floor of the facility.

Other witnesses say that 2 armed robbers broke through the doors of the facility, then just headed straight through the Route 66 Bingo Hall office where they had taken the night's earnings.

The witnesses also told the police officers who responded to the scene of the crime that a 3rd person assisted the 2 robbers who broke into the office and distracted the security guard in front of the Route 66 Bingo Hall in the parking lot.

All 3 armed robbers fled the scene of the crime after getting all the cash using a Chevrolet Suburban. As of press time, the robbers had not yet been caught by the authorities.
