Bingo Card Thief Captured With Help of FBI

An odd call it is, but nonetheless, a police detective in a Northern Kentucky station received a call from a man suspected of being involved in almost a dozen bank robberies to make sure that the police detective would watch one of "America's Most Wanted" episodes which features the story and profile of fugitive, Warren Lee Back.

Detective Mike McGuffey of the Covington Police Department is the police detective who received the weird phone call and when asked for a comment he said that it is just mind boggling and very odd thing that he have ever experience because he never have experienced before that a suspect would take the time to call him.

FBI agents caught Warren Lee Back in Indianapolis just last week, after the strange phone call to detective Mike McGuffey barely two weeks ago.

Detective McGuffey met Warren Lee Back when the latter was still a resident of Covington and well before when Back was linked to a series of bank robberies spree in the Dayton and Cincinnati areas.

Detective McGuffey works as a security guard at a bingo parlor when he is not on duty. Coincidentally, the parlor where Detective McGuffey works is where Warren Lee Back was previously accused of stealing pull-tab bingo cards.

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Warren Lee Back is also suspected of the bank robbery in Louisville and hold-ups in check-cashing stores in the areas of Columbus, Dayton and New Albany, Indiana.

Back was arrested in Indianapolis on Wednesday by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
